Union Drilling, Inc. provides contract land drilling services and equipment to oil and gas companies in the United States. The Company primarily serves natural gas producers who operate in the most active exploration and productions areas in the country, including the Appalachian Basin, Arkoma Basin, and the Fort Worth Basin. Today, the Company owns and operates a fleet of 71 marketed rigs, with substantially all of its rigs operating in unconventional natural gas producing areas, where specialized drilling techniques, such as horizontal drilling and underbalanced drilling, are required to develop these natural gas resources efficiently.

The Company is based in Fort Worth, TX and trades on the NASDAQ under the symbol UDRL.
